They've done it again.  This time they've had come come from behind and it was with an evolving team.

The Honey Badgers continue their winning ways with a strong effort when it mattered most and took out the T4L24 Opens Club Championship Final.

With strong efforts on the last two routes they pulled away from the Donkeys towards the end. Led by Lachie McNee and Henry George they were always going to challenge and led from the front.  Both Lachie and Henry topped B2 and B4 to open up a healthy lead and it was up to the Donkeys to chase from here.

The Donkeys pulled the lead back on B3 but just couldn't finish off on B4 left the Donkeys to finish in second behind the Honey Badgers.  The Hornets didn't have the best of nights and finished behind the pack well short of their potential.  End score:  Badgers 254, Donkeys 231, Hornets 169.

Charlie Ekin, Jack Gleeson-Barker and Bill Lulham were all new faces to the Honey Badgers and all performed well - no easy task in these pressure situations and experience in this space.

Notable performances should also go to Fred Eather in the Donkeys and Mervin Liang in the Hornets who led the way for their teams.

This was the first time the new format was applied to the Club Championship finals and all things unfolded with one ripping night.
