It's a good thing that so many youth are coming on strong as the timing is impeccable.

Whilst our Club Championship record is rock solid to date, it's our depth that has previously been a challenging proposition and it'll be tested heavily like never before in the Opens Club Championship in a few weeks time.

The core nucleus of Archie Eather, Lachie McNee and Henry George will all be unavailable for this finals and that sort of experience is hard to replace.  Adding to the list, Jack Watkins is also out. However, it also opens up opportunity for a number of young guns coming up through the ranks.

Will Lulham, Jack O'Neill, Jack Gleeson Barker, Henry Cowell and Ryan Cumberland are some of the younger generation that have impressed and are very capable of stepping up to the plate.

Finals is a different animal.  The format is different and extremely challenging.  But none of these guys are new to this space and they've all been here before. Surrounding the young faces with experience will be key and the likes of Brendan Byrne and will become important.

We'd love to see EVERYONE IN OUR CLUB at the finals day / evening as this will be our final outing for 2023 and we hope to make it a beauty.
