2023 has been a memorable year for the Honey Badgers.

Firstly, it's formally our first year.  The culture is an extension of the three clubs of Tamworth as clubs were formed as an essential ingredient in evolving the sport.  It's a culture of support, encouragement and inclusion yet it's also been one of sporting success.

The Club was established in late 2022 has dominated the opens division from the outset. Led by Archie Eather, the team including Henry George, Lachie McNee and Will Doyle (and multiple others along the way) set the standard from the start and won everything on offer from T4L18 right up until late.  The winning streak of six titles in a row is quite a run and was a purple patch for the history books indeed.

The high school team of the Chameleons has just completed three-in-a row winning three of the four social leagues this year.  The Daruka Honey Badgers have been consistently impressive in the opens social league throughout the year.  The depth in the opens has been challenged as the year has progressed and the youth have stepped up accordingly.  We have a number of quiet achievers in our ranks that's for sure.

However, inclusion is at the heart of all clubs and with around 200 members in 2023 the Honey Badgers have started out quite nicely.

Enjoy the xmas holiday break and we look forward to seeing you all in 2024.
