NSW State Boulder Titles
The state titles were held in Sydney on 22-23 Jan 2022 and Freestyle Tamworth was well represented across a number of youth categories. The format was altered to accommodate the covid situation and this made it even more challenging in an already extremely challenging event. And all-in-all it was simply awesome.
Preparation was far from ideal but it was the same for all competitors and the standard keeps being raised every year. We're so proud of the whole team and each and every athlete should be proud of themselves and their personal achievements because they all sure earnt the right to be there. It's difficult to single out individual achievements but the nature of this competition is such.
The top five from each category make the NSW State team to compete at Nationals mid year. Brothers Archie & Fred Eather won their respective categories and Nikala Murray finished fourth in her category. Special mention should also go to Lachie McNee who finished 7th in a tough field.
The international calandar then starts in August for the National team.
