The winners of both the Opens Championship and the High School Championship competition donate $250 to a charity of their choice each season. 

The Honey Badgers and the Geckos have been the dominant givers to MND Australia, the Black Dog Institute, LCF Uganda and Kids with Cancer have all received $250 in 2022.
