This team is different and has assembled as a matter of circumstance rather than design.
Bindi's brain child - Thursday afternoon at 5pm opened up to be a 'women's' inclusive' session and the one team formed under the name of the Central Hornets. It's a rather large team of women made up of all ages with different stories. Familiar faces and new. They're united here in the one team and and supported by Ten4 Australia.
As the teams competition uses a handicap system rewarding consistency and growth, the Central Hornets are doing just fine - even though competition is hardly a primary motivator!.
Good things happen when you just show up and do your best what ever that may be and the Central Hornets are a testament to that.
